When he’s not in the editing suite, you’ll likely find him in the cockpit — Enock holds a UK private pilot licence and currently training to add instrument and night ratings.
Crossfit
A fitness enthusiast based at Bearwalden CrossFit in his home town, Saffron Walden. He regularly competes in events such as Turf Games and National Fitness Game UK, bringing the same discipline and energy to the gym as he does to every project.
Runner
Enock regularly runs half marathons, using them as a way to build endurance and improve overall fitness. Running keeps discipline and complements his commitment to high performance in all areas of life.
Father
It’s easy to think that as a parent, you’re the one doing the teaching. The truth is I learn just as much from them. And none of what I pursue would be possible without the strength, support and quiet brilliance of my wife. Their belief in me is what keeps me reaching for more.
Explorer
Enock has a deep love of travel, keen to explore new places and cultures. Whether it’s a city break, a remote landscape, or a spontaneous adventure abroad, travel fuels creativity and broadens his perspective.
Cyclist
Enock is also a passionate cyclist, often out on long weekend rides exploring the countryside. It’s his way of switching off, staying focused and drawing inspiration from the world outside the edit suite.

Where it all Began
My journey as a creative, story-driven, video producer
1998
IT guy
I was a Network Engineer for Samara Services, the first company to bring the Internet in my home country, Zimbabwe. I installed dial up modems on crackly phone lines in Windows 3.1 computers and taught clients how to send emails and browse the internet as part of my installation package.
By the end of that stint, I was a Mac Server specialist, one of two people in the country providing that skillset, which set me up nicely for the next journey.
2002
In-house film training
Got a job at Media for Development Trust (MFD) as their IT guy. MFD was an African filmmaking organisation that produced cinema releases such as Neria (which, at the time, fetched more at the box office than the Titanic). I wanted to learn a new skill and began sponging off expert cinematographers, film editors, sound engineers, scriptwriters, etc.
I learned video production, post-production and marketing, and became the Business Manager for MFD in just two years.

2005
Producing for television
Moved up to become the Regional Coordinator for Television for the Environment who, at the time, were renowned for the longest-running environmental documentary series on BBC World – The Earth Report.
Working with partners in 15 African countries, I produced documentaries that were broadcast on national television stations in over 35 countries worldwide.
2007
Field producer
Relocated to Kenya and, for the next 13 years, made impact videos and programme highlight documentaries for international agencies such as the UN Environment, UNICEF, UNOPS, Plan International and UNISOM.
I took extended field missions in remote places of South Sudan, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo and Mozambique, making videos on topics such as conflict, education, nutrition, droughts, HIV/AIDS and climate change.
2020
Pilot and video producer
Moved to the UK in-between Covid lockdown one and lockdown two – strange times! I re-invented my services and started producing explainers and training videos for the financial and sustainability reporting industry.
Sustainability reporting was a big change from developing people-centred, human impact stories that thrive on emotion. But it honed my skills in creating drama from the seemingly mundane — transforming data, metrics and corporate language into visual narratives with tension, stakes and clarity.
It taught me how to find the human thread in policy, how to make complexity feel compelling, and how to shape meaning from structure — all skills that now power the way I tell purpose-driven brand stories at BoldTurn.
The stories I told were taking flight — but I wasn’t. That’s when I turned to aviation.
Flying demanded precision and courage — the same ingredients I now bring to every frame I edit, every brand I help shape and every narrative I build.
In many ways, BoldTurn was born in the skies — a brand built on clarity, movement and the belief that it’s never too late to change direction.
2025
I took a bold turn
Today, I help purpose-driven brands, startups, agencies and non-profits turn their missions into emotionally powerful films that move people to act. From scripting and editing to directing and delivery, I guide every project with the same focus and intention it takes to fly a plane — because stories, like flights, need lift, direction and a destination.
